Taking a major initiative in the field of online education, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has started the Vidyadan-2 program. Its objective is to provide quality digital course material on various online education platforms. Initiating this, the Education Minister said that Vidyadan-2 has been started to continue online education without any hindrance.
What is Vidyadan-2?
Vidyadan is a national program under which people and organizations from different fields of education will be linked to develop and contribute to e-learning materials as per syllabus. If an academician wants to contribute in developing e-learning content, he can register his contribution under this program.(Vidyadan-2 program – An Initiative in online Education)
Students will access through ‘Diksha’ app
The material on Vidyadan-2 will be reviewed by experts, after which it will be released on the Diksha app. Students will be able to access this material only through this app. States and Union Territories can initiate this program on their own. Also, various organizations, educational institutions, and teachers can be added to it. These people can make learning materials available under this program. According to the government, soon the benefit of this program will be extended to the students with higher education.
