The second phase of lockdown across the country has started from today. It will run until the 3rd of May. Meanwhile, the government issued new guidelines for lockdown 2.0 under which it has been decided to start necessary ventures with some exemptions and necessary conditions.
It has been made clear that the restrictions are applied from now on and will continue, but the exemption will be applicable in some services after five days i.e. from April 20. But with extremely strict conditions. If the rule is ignored, all exemptions can be removed.
As per the guidelines, all types of education, training and coaching institutes will remain closed till 3rd May.
During the ongoing war against the Coronavirus, all schools and colleges are resorting to online study. In this regard, the UT Education Department has decided to put online classes in government schools as well. At the moment, students of 9th, 10th and 12th will be benefited because the result of the 10th has not come yet. Therefore, classes of 11th will not be held.
In Kendriya Vidyalayas, online classes will be given to students from 6th to 8th class.
