The following are the time limits after which a student needs to revalidate his or her registration – (Extension in the validity period of CA course registration)
- Foundation – 3 years

The time period to re-validate CA course registration has been extended by ICAI till 1st May 2021.
On 23rd September 2020, ICAI has announced an extension of up to 1 year in this time limit. This extension is a one-time measure for the students due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the merging of May 2020 exams with the November 2020 exams.
The students those registrations were expired or going to expire from 1st May 2020 to 30th April 2021 (including both the dates), can avail benefit of this announcement. Now their registration will be valid till 1st May 2021 for all levels i.e. CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final.
